Been getting a warning
I have been getting a warning light that comes ad goes. It is shaped like a wrench. I have no mods to the truck at all. 2006 Crew cab. Anyone know what is causing it? It will be very hard for me to get it to the dealer.

It would be a little easier for the boys here to help you out if we knew the year and model of your truck,what kind of powerplant, as well as weather or not you've chipped or modded it in any way.

As I said in my orig post 2006 crew cab no mods, It is a 6.0, I am on the right fourm.

as far as i know, the wrench was for gassers. it was to tell the owner there is a issue with the ETC ( electronic throttle body)

the book that came with my 06 6.0 f superduty its listed as wrench. E T C, for codes

why would ford have this symbol listed (wrench) for codes if two types of engines gas,diesel is it the same part

It will have set a code. Normally the wrench light turns out to be a wire chafe near the accelerator, but on occasion I have found they have needed new pedals.
