Mine too has been coming on and going off for a couple of weeks. If it comes on, it will stay on until I shut it down and restart it. When the "wrench" light is on, the truck runs perfectly fine and I checked and there are NO codes set. I guess I will take mine in next week and see what they say and I will also see if they will give me the "injector flash" as well that people keep talking about. I will let you know.
I believe there may also have been a PCM update for false wrench light concerns. I know for sure there was for Econolines, but I'll have to check if pick-ups were involved too.
Mine came on (wrench light) when I was driving, stayed on for approx 10 miles until I got home. Next day light was off, but I called the dealer and an appointment. It needed a new accelerator pedal. They had to order one, so I drove it around for a few days until they got one in to replace it. The light never returned but they replaced it anyway.

Well, I took mine in today and just picked it up. They told me that they did find a code (P2138-60) and that there is a TSB out for the "Wrench Light On" problem (TSB 06-22-09). So all is fine now....or should be. The only thing I am wondering now is...Why didn't my ScanGuageII pick up the P2138-60 code?? Anybody know why?
