i hope someone can answer this, a local fellow here in pa is selling a 61 econoline short, cargo-style, no windows in back or sides or side doors, he wants $2500.00 for it, it looks to be in good cond. w/ i believe to be a fresh paint job. i havent stopped to take a good look at it yet, but it sure is shiney when i drive by on my way to work. is this a good price if its as good as it looks, if not what is it worth? or should i not bother... any advise is appreciated, thanks in advance, mocky
2500. bucks american is alot of dough boy! thats about 3700. Canadian up here. A ford econo van in mint shape will go for 2500 bucks in Canada. thats about 1250 bucks american. Keep in mind that the 1961 is the first year of the econoline which makes it more rare. If you could wheel him down a few bucks, it sounds like a good van . NELLS NELSON
look real carefully for structural rust on that unibody. side and rear doors are interchangeable, seem to be available here and there for reasonable amounts. $2500 isn't too bad if it is straight and hasn't been modified too much. Radios interchange with 61-66 Ford trucks, not much else does.Falcons are where you will find alot of mechanical swap items. Good luck with it1
