If it is for your 04', and you want the best, use the DR leveling kit. Entire spring kit, not the mini spring pack, or the hanger kit. You won't be sorry
Reidicus:
I have badly misled you. I was under the impression that they manufactured a complete spring pack for the 99-04 SD. We installed one at my shop for a customer, but the spring pack appears to have come directly from Deaver Spring. ( they make the springs for Donahoe Racing) It was a custom spring pack, and I believe it was an 8 leaf stack. It was the best riding system we had done on an SD at that time. If you would like, I can research some of the part #'s from that install, and even contact them direct to see if they are still interested in building another set for you.
I have been in some trucks with the mini spring pack, they ride well, but not as well as the one with the complete spring. The condition of the spring you are starting with might have to be taken into consideration. I am not crazy about the factory spring, thats all. PM me if I can help you out please.
I used the Rancho replacement springs as well. They have urethane eye bushings which I like because they eliminated the noisy rubber bushings. So far so good, I like them.
The DR 2" mini spring pack kit will not quite level an F350. We typically recommend the DR 3" hanger systems for F350s. However either will allow for use of 285s.

for 285's there is no need for a leveing kit, other than it will look nice! i run 305/70/16's and it just barely touchs under full stuff at full lock. and that is a width problem not height. my friend has 295's on his 02 sd 4x4 gas and it never rubs.
but the leveling kits look nice for sure! i might do one also!
Your stock ride will remain the same. That's the beauty of a hanger kit. Your basically "hanging" the stock suspension under the kit, so you retain the stock ride, while getting the lift.
