Driveline vibration can be an issue from truck to truck, even using the exact parts. A lot of variables depends on the current vehicle's overall condition, u-joint, leaf springs, etc. As with anything, always go with a reputable manufacture and hope for the best. If it does vibrate, basically, you'll have to play with the angle of the rear driveshaft by shimming the rear block/spring mount. 4"-6" is common, so I don't think it'll be too big of an issue.

I have 12" lift (8" springs with 4" hangers front, 8" springs and 4" blocks and factory blocks for rear), and I drove it from CA to TX just last week w/o any problems. Good luck with your decision.

looks like a lot of work into that truck... Not very practical for most though. obviously built as a show truck..... do you have links to magazine articles? I am sure there are individual ideas that some could take away from your work. Any engine/performance mods? or is it all show and no go? Those rubber band tires on huge rims just seem pointless to me... What is the load rating of those tires?

It's our daily driver that we haul our 5 kids around in. We do lots of show and built it to promote our online business Big Tyme Industries...shopping cart is almost complete ;^)
It see's quite a bit of 4xing at the Imperial Sand Dunes, and Az. deserts...Performance mods are Bully Dog PMT, Airaid cold air intake, 4" MBRP 304 SS chromed exhaust, turbo, custom Monster Transmission and torque converter, custom drive shafts, EGR unplugged, Amsoil oil bypass system. Soon to be adding FASS system, intercooler, EGR delete kit, ARP head studs and injectors. Rubberbands are 37"x13.50 Toyo M/T Open Countrys on custom 24"x12" Weld Racing wheels.
They are an "E" rating and ride way better than my 35"s and 40"s EVER did!!
I also pull a 30 ft. toy hauler with it, and there`s plenty of rubber and I've had no problems in any terrain.

I ended up going with 6" BDS, MT Classic locks and 34/14.5/16 MT Baja Belteds. No vibration problems at all. Hooked my power washing trailer (5000#) up and no problems. Rear end only dropped about an inch, which was okay because it sits a little high in the rear with no trailer on. In a couple weeks I'll put the 285 Toyo's back on, hook my 30" TT and see how that does. Now if I could just figure out how to get permission I would post pics of it...

I'd like those specs too. I think those wheels look slick. How much more (or less) backspacing is needed?

Hey what size lift is that? we just got an excursion just like yours but without those nice rims, and their 18's. I want 20's and 37's like you but Im not sure how they would look with a 6inch lift.
