I picked up a factory clock which fits the mount behind the center dash panel in my '82 E350. problem is, my dash panel doesn't have the molded hole for the clock, as my van didn't have the clock originally. i've seen several replacement panels around, but none with the hole for the clock.
My center panel needs replacing anyways, as it was damaged when some a$$ decided he needed my radio more than me, so i'd rather find one ready for my clock than try cutting that hole myself and making it look decent...
Can anyone confirm the years and/or trim levels that might have had the clock in the dash so i can look for the correct panel? Or maybe even the part number for the panel with clock hole. (my parts lists don't show it.)
The only trim level I've ever seen with a clock was the XLT in the early 80s. Even then it may have been VERY rare. I think I'd go with the panels from an '86 or newer and install a DIN style radio with a clock.

Dash Bezels, with Clock
From 1975 thru 1980, there was no clock option.
From 1981 thru 1984, there were these options: With clock, with radio, with air. Or, with clock, with radio, without air.

mine is an '82 and i have air, but i suspect the newer parts are more likely to have a DIN slot for the radio rather than that odd ford rectangle. i would prefer the DIN. i need to build a proper radio cage behind there anyways...
