I have a 1999 F 550. I was told the torque converter may be bad. the person
that told me had is replaced. He said tonque converters in 99 went bad after a while. I have 70,500 miles on my truck. Has anyone eard or had this problem.

Hi, I do have what appears to be oil drippage from that area. The person that told me
torque converters were bad in 99. I am not sure what size truck he has. He said he
could hear a noise, but it did not sound different to me. I ave got to get it checked out. He also said other people had told him the same problem about bad converters
in 99.
