Power Seat

I'm looking for a drivers power seat for a 2000 F150 xcab where do I get one? I've tried some local yards and most say that power seats just aren't very common for the trucks.

I wonder if the Expy seats will interchange with the F150?

Power Seat

Power seat mechanisms from vans and Expeditions etc are sold on eBay all the time. If you have some metalworking skills you could probably modify them to fit your truck.

I have a '98 E-150 and need a power drivers seat and rear power sofa. I went to e-bay but could not find them listed.(DUH??) How do I "search" for these "accessories", "parts" and/or "interiors".

"power seat" in eBay motors = 63 matches
"ford seat" in same = 213 matches

You can refine your search from there...

I'll also try the online salvage yards. Any suggestions on how to narrow my search? Do I just go to each site and enter "ford seat".

Use "Advanced search" so you can enter the category you want to search... In this case it is eBay Motors. Enter your search term in the "all of these words". Keep adding words as required to narrow the search. You can add words to the "Words to exclude" section also to narrow the search and exclude things like "pontiac" -hehe When you get a search that seems to work well you can save it.

I wish I could explain in detail but it can get complicated... Practice makes perfect!
