Repainting EB bumper black on EB Excursion
Hey all, I have 2005 Excursion EB black and tan. I had to have the front bumper replaced from accident, had them put it back all black b/c I like that look better (looks like Limted from front, EB from sides). Now I need to do the back bumper all black also to match, but I've gotta pay for this one!!
Had an estimate today for $345 for pulling, painting, reassembling (including backup sensors) and changing out the step pads (top cap and curved one below lic plate). I don't mind paying for good labor (this body shop) but those flimsy plastic pads and insert holes are over $115 of that total, seems high. Anyone know of alternate source to get those pads in black, like off Limted model, or is that price pretty good?? Anyone wanna trad a tan EB bumper for all black Limited? Thanks!
