1970 ranchero project
hi i just picked up a 70 ranchero from the 1st owner. it has the 429 cobra jet but it is not the gt. have you ever see a plain jan like this? it has been sitting from 1985 and it has all of the windows out of it. do you know where i can find a #s book on it. i would like to check it out before i start the redop on it

Hey Gentlemen I don't have a GT Hood But I do have a 1971 Ranchero that I am Parting out let me know what parts you need and we can make a deal. the truck has all the windows and a original dash with no cracks along with matching door panels. you can email me at getusum69@altavista.com. Is your Ranchero a 500 series? It is a C code which is a 429 Cobra jet non ram air(not a Super Cobra jet) It should have a factory rochestor carbuerator(spread bore intake) I would say it is VERY rare, I have a friend who has a 70 Ranchero GT (J code) 429 SCJ 4sp 4.30 detroit locker, thi scar is awesome, from what we have found there were less than 800 like it purduced!
Shifter were are you located I may be able to help you w/ a GT hood I have 2 spares. I will have to check there conditon, I am in Tn, near Memphis.
p.s. I use to have a 71 Ranchero Squire 351c 4v C6, unfortunately I was 17 and very inexperienced, I rolled it.

I have some miscellaneous 70-71 Ranchero parts, mostly chrome trim, side marker and taillights, so feel free to email ( danb98tj@prodigy.net ) if you need anything like that.

Hi guys I have a 1970 351c ranchero blew the motor in arizona brought the car back to michigan I have been restoring the car put a 429scj in and have picked up most all the parts I need I still need a R.H pasanger side mirror can any one help me

1) Painted Racing manual, matches L/S Racing remote.
2) Chrome remote hooded rectangular head, matches L/S remote.
3) Chrome manual flat head, matches L/S manual.

Hi Bill thanks for the reply the mirror im looking for is the painted racing sport mirror and yes it would match the manual left hand side is there a replacement control lever for that mirror it is busted off sorry it took so long for my reply thanks in advance for any help

The **** for the L/H Racing mirror only came with the mirror, it was not available by itself.
