Trading in with mods
If i were going to trade my truck in within 3 years will my value go down faster if i put mods on my truck? Should i leave it with just my exhaust if i want to get a new 6.4 in a few years?

I dont think you get your money out of the mods if you trade early, in fact it probably erodes the price a bit for performance mods and lifts. Of course, it might be the thing that seals the deal for a buyer. My last truck had several useful mods like driving lights, box liner, canopy, switches ect, trailer and camper power plugs ect. I got lots on trade for mine.

Most likely you won't til their released either. With the ammount of info I have seen so far on the emissions equipment (available for reading in the 6.4 thread)and what it takes to make it work, it will be less than the 6.0. Probably the ammount of difference between the 7.3-6.0.

man i get between 17-20 highway now, if a big a$$ truck can get better than that stock that is friggin crazy!Man i looooove my truck now, people get pissy when i tell them no smoking to stay off the side and dont reach over into the toolbox..... I make them put the tailgate down and jump in the bed to get to the box

Well Jocaren , I Must Be A Freak Too I Have The Same Rules For My Truck And It Really Pisses Off The Wife And Kids When I Will Not Let Them Eat In My Truck, And People Get Pissy Like You Said Is An Understatement !!! Glad To Know That Iam Not The Only Freak Out There

I've got the same rules, caught an employee of mine standing on the rim to reach over the dually fender to get something out of the back and I all but about lost it. Needless to say he scratched the rim and I had a terets momment with a few choice words spilling out uncontrolably.

Well I Must Say I Love This Site , Thought I Might Be Loosing It About My Truck Good To Know That All Of Us Freaks With Terets Have A Placde To Go !!!! Hey ford4lifer, Did they give you a new rim? I hope so. I hope they docked thee employees pay also. Some people have no respect for other guys REAL trucks!...........This coming from a garage kept 350 c/c dually owner. Keep um all Clean!.
