I think I'm paranoid as this being the first Powerstroke I have owned.. Here are a few concerns and if you have any advice it'd be appreciated
1) As ya'll read my MPG went horrible over that Ice Storm that Central Texas got. Last tank I had went something like 270 miles at 11.5-12 MPG. I just filled up half an hour ago and I'm at 14.7MPG. 370.1 miles on Trip, 25.011 gallons put in. So it seems to be back.
2) This rear end clunking is pissing me off and its no longer under warranty. Does anyone else hear this? It's not bad, it just sounds annoying as hell when I take off or stop. They keep telling me all SD do it.
3) Engine doesnt feel like it has power under 2k RPMs. Normally I don't ever let it shift over 2k so when I'm driving. From stop to say 65, it'll take some time because I'm not punching it to the floor. But even if I punch it now it doesn't launch me like it did. Not sure if it's Oil/Fuel Filters. I'm changing them this week as I don't know how long they have been in there.
drain some fuel from the HFCM into glass jars, put one in the fridge, one in the freezer, if it goes cloudy but doesnt gell, its winter fuel. They have to do this becuase trucks leaving your area to colder parts would freeze up. Remember they carry 500 or more gallons and can drive 1500 miles....
I had the same problem with the clunk noise and had it fixed a couple weeks ago at dealer,i could of fixed myself but im still under fac. warr.,that clunk was very annoying after a while,i know how you feel, its not serious and easy fix,and dont believe the person who said all SD do it- its not normal, mine is clunk free now
here is the fix if you want to do it yourself otherwise the dealer will charge about 100 bucks http://www.eurekaboy.com/f250/slipjoint.htm good luck

Ahhhh.... The infamous Super Duty Clunk. paul horvath provided a nice link and I shall do so as well.
Lube those driveshaft splines and be clunk free my friend!
Uh Lube what?! I havent even looked at my driveshaft.. Anyone got a photo.. I'm an idiot newbie computer networking engineering nerd.. Not a mechanic LMAO
The rear driveshaft is a two piece unit which is splined, the splines get dry and cause the clunk sensation you're describing. Click the linky in paul horvaths post, it has some good pics of the procedure. You will have to 're-boot' the driveshaft once you're done.
So all I have to do is mark the shaft, drop it.. undo the boot.. pull the spline out.. lube it up all real nice and good hmm been awhile.. then slap it back in there and use cable ties to hold the boot? not if im not mistaken, cable tie is a zip tie right? will that hold the boot or is the cable tie he talkin bout the metal ones? if so what size? and can I do this without torque wrenches and such.. Really dont want to spend a buncha money on a monkey wrench that says "Yo Man Yah Et 18Lbs/Ft Torque".. What the beer is for.. ;-)
That's the deal. A plastic cable tie should work fine. You should be able to remove and replace the metal band on there without damaging it though. A torque wrench is necessary to ensure the bolts are tightened properly or your shaft may come loose someday and go through your bed.

Buy yourself a torque wrench, you deserve it!
Blah.. More money down the drain.. How much ft/lb tq does those drive shaft bolts need? And recommendation on type of grease I need and how much I put on.. Shows good pics but no details on how much to put in there. Do I put it on male/female parts?
111n-m (82lb-ft) for the 12mm, 12point main flange bolts. For the smaller 8mm bolts, just snug them tightly with a 3/8th ratchet. Use lots of threadlock on all of it.
