111n-m (82lb-ft) for the 12mm, 12point main flange bolts. For the smaller 8mm bolts, just snug them tightly with a 3/8th ratchet. Use lots of threadlock on all of it.
Which ones do I need to yank to get the shaft off? 12's or the 8's?
I don't know if it applies to your truck but I had a clunk in my 96 5Spd. and it turned out to be a rusted shaft between the trans and tranfer case I pulled the transfer case wire brushed the shaft and put some lube on it and the clunk was gone for good. I was told this is a dry connection and it rusts up sometimes. I have not had any trouble yet with my 05 6Spd.
Good luck

Update on miles issue.. I have tried the rolling throttle.. It seems to pick up fast.. I guess? I dont know.. This is my first powerstroke so I'm not use to it.. As for the miles.. I'm at Half a tank with 188 miles now.. I am beginning to notice that my fuel gauge is just weird period.. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.. Like the last tank it was fine.. This tank its being weird..
I still dont know abour additives.. Folks say to use it.. then dont.. I'm confused.. Should I or not? I didn't take it to the dealer because I feel this is just how it is.. I think.. I really wish I had a boost gauge so I could truly see if it's boosting high enough.. I just feel like it could have more *****.. I thought these trucks launched when you rolled it..
