Noise from Front End
2005 PSD---Whenever(80% of the time) I make a hard right turn and step on the accelerator, I get a whining noise coming from my driver's side wheel. If I go over any kind of dip or bump, it sounds more like a grinding noise. No noise at all if I coast through the turn. I'm going to the dealer on Thur. I'm thinking it's either a bad hub or bearings. Any ideas?

If the noise is deffinetly coming from the front then I would say its your wheel bearing, take a look at this for some info. http://guzzle.rbmicro.com/nblube.html

VQ2 thanks for that link. Went to Ford this morning. It made the noise. Diagnosed as the front wheel bearing. One of the Largest Ford TRUCK dealers in the NY/NJ area and they had to order the parts. Go Figure!
At least it'll be fixed next week.
