To tell the truth, I can use just about any, lol. I'm always fixin' one thing or another around here, and stranded cable is my favorite. Did you kow stranded can handle more amps than THHN?? electron actually travel AROUND the outside of a strand, so on top of better flexibility you have that added advantage.
Hoo boy. First, no, I do not work for Taylor Cable. Not heard of them. Are they close by?
Secondly, yes, there are vast differences between stranded conductor wire, and solid conductor wire...must be careful...there's a big difference between the terms "wire" and "cable"...no, they are NOT the same thing.
welllll DUH.
I just asssuuuuuumed you knew what I was talkin about...
sheesh some people are sooooo sensitive!
Didn't realize I had to keep em seperate for ya.
however, while what you say is true, doesn't it seem odd that sheathed or coaxial wire assemblies can be called cable, while non-electrical stranded cable can also use that moniker, whether it is sheathed or not? hehehe....
Hey tcbofade, I work in the wire or "cable" business sort of, and yes if you work in Grandview, then you work near "Taylor Cable" - they make automotive related products such as sparkplug wires and battery cables.

PS. I work in Raytown some of the time and live in Grandview.
I missed the last KC gtg, had the night off so I spent it with the kids, but don't let me miss the next one. Which co do you work for Terry? I work for A auto parts at Gregory and 350, I used to be an asst mgr but I recently picked up a job with SM&P, so they got pushed to 2nd place.
