I was thinking of getting the elbow. In one of the Diesel magazines they dynoed it on a stock 06 SD, in other words the elbow was the only mod...it gained 9hp and about the same torque. I have the article somewhere. I'll probly get it if only for the fact it comes with a boost sensor fitting pre-tapped. If I recal correctly they didn't have numbers on fuel economy but they said it "should improve the mileage".

XHunter .. I have the stock 6.0L air intake with the zoodad mod to create better direct airflow ... I'm wondering if you saw any perceptible increase in power, or mileage when you added the Airaid intake ...

I can't say because I added the Bully Dog at the same time, actually I put the BD in first. Even if I put it in stock tune the truck seems slow because I'm used to the power from the BD--even in economy tune. However, it sounds a hell of a lot better--more with the hood up of course but with it down you can hear the engine sucking air in, more air can't be a bad thing. Sorry for not being more help. I'm sure the intake alone does help with the power but as to how much I'm not sure. As a side note--with only the intake (w/zoodad) and the BD in economy I am getting 4+ mpg increase over stock on the hwy acording to the lie-o-meter. I highly recomend the BD, my brother and I both have it and love it.
