has anyone put a set of these diamond cut headlights on their truck?? the ones where you can run H4 replaceable bulbs, instead of the old sealed beams?? i'm wondering if they actually do make a difference with night visibility. and is it ok to run the factory wires to them or should i buy the heavy duty harness that will power the headlights straight off the battery.
i was looking at ordering the ones from LMC but there are ones on ebay that look cooler and are cheaper. LMC want's $30 ea. and on ebay you can get the pair for the same price. do you think the acrylic ones are better or should i get ones that are glass?? i know the glass ones won't cloud up like the plastic ones, but i have a 4wd and figure the acrylic would be less likely to break.

Do you have a PEP BOYS near you? They also carry them,or use to.
yes, been awhile since i been in their place, they've always been higher to buy parts from. what about the harness?? is it available in stores or would i still need to order that?? I'm probably just going to buy the lights first, and shortly after buy the harness just to be on the safe side and not have to worry about burning up the factory harness.
So how do you do the relay mod? Anyone have a diagram? I know wiring but not sure where your talking about for the relay to go!
I'm hoping to find out myself too. It's a good cheap mod that will help a lot during night time driving. I also been thinking about adding driving lights to the rear of my truck to make it easier to see behind me when I'm backing it up.
