Are these trucks intercooled?
I hope this is not a totally stupid question, but I don't know. Are the trucks covered in this forum intercooled? The reason I am asking is I am starting a Cummins swap into my '79 and would like to add an intercooler as I go. In the local bone yard is a '96 with a Power Stroke that I can get the parts from. I'll brave the snow and -30 temps to get them if they are there.

coolers are easily had on ebay. check this guy "gobanks" he had some pretty cheap a while back. The you just need some pipes to modify.
Also you will have one of the sweetest trucks around when your done. If i were to ever build up an old truck it would be a 79. and adding the cummins will be very cool too. and much easier than dropping a PSD in there.
