Smaller than stock wheels

I know that the superduties come stock with at least 17 inch wheels, but does anyone know or has had any experience with mounting smaller diameter wheels? I really like like the look of the tire to wheel ratio of a 35 inch tire and a 15inch wheel. The thing is that I dont know if a 15 incher will clear the calipers and everything else.

anyone know?

I know that it is a different pattern, but on my dads 77 F250, it has 15 inch steel wheels with a slightly lower profile tire, so i know there out there, but it doesnt really matter now that they require at least 17s I guess that better brake performance and safety are a small price to pay.
