Talking Stage 2's

Well i finally bit the bullet and bought some stage 2's and a 6 pos. chip from beans. Didnt think the truck was going to start at first but after she started... good lord is about all I have to say!! Its a whole new truck, TONS more power and now i have smoke for all the ricers and dodges that said my ol ford wouldnt smoke. I have to say this was the best investment that i have ever made for my truck! Just thought I would let ya'll know. Next is a clutch and Beans 66 turbo ......... I'll try to get some smoke pics on here sometime....

Congratulations on the upgrade. I know you will love the Stage 2's, I do. Better keep the wallet full of green because you keep your foot in the go pedal for quite a while.

Even with my new stage 1s I have seen 10mpg the last week (I'm amazed its getting that good the way I've been driving it).

The only thing holding me back from the 2's was my clutch, I already have a con-o from southbend thats been in for a few years.

I have to say installing them was easier than I thought, only took me about 6-7 hours (not bad for a first timer)

haha, i've been getting between 10 and 13 mpg so far... and thats with a big grin factor on my face..... lol.... so far my clutch is holding my stage 2's...... It ended up taking me about 5 or 6 hours, and that was having trouble with oil in the cylinders and getting the back passenger side injector out.... not bad for a 18 year old I didnt think... lol

COngrats Farmboy! That's one of my next expenditures. Probably stage 1's though.
Do you have to upgrade your HPOP for the 2's????

I didnt, i've heard that you should, and i know they are probably not performing like they could, but my stock hpop is doing the job good enough for right now. It only throws the code on long, hard pulls in the 140 setting.....
