I am selling a 1994 Ranger 2.3L and the fuse for the cigar lighter is blown. When I removed the cover for the fuse panel all the fuses are numbered and it says refer to owners manual. When I bought the truck it did not come with a owners manual so I have no idea which fuse controls the cigar lighter. Does anyone have a 94 ranger that the could look at the manual and tell me the fuse number so I dont have to pull them all??
Wow, I guess I am not the only person with a 94 Ranger and no owners manual!
Why do so many people have to keep the owners manuals to a car they are going to sell. I have bought 4 used cars in my life and none of them had owners manuals. Guess I have to pull every fuse to check it out.
myford wont give me the info because according to them I am not shown as the owner of this vehicle, what a total PITA!!! :<((
Sounds like you may not have registered properly. First create an account using your email address, then add vehicles to your account using the VIN. Then under Resource Center you can access the owners manual.
For what it's worth, my Haynes and Chilton Manuals say that the cigar lighter fuse for the 1994 Ranger is fuse position #3. It's listed as a 20amp C.B., which I presume is a circuit breaker and not a fuse and it looks like a little rectangular element. Hope this helps.

That helps allot. I got registered on myford but it said I was not the current owner so it would not give me the info but by using the previous owners name it gave me access but they dont have the owners manual for the 1994 Ranger .
