radiator ?'s
HI all, first of all the truck is a f100 4x2 s/b . came with 360 (died) now has 302 and will be getting a 68 429 TJ .the radiator it has was from the 360 will it work on the 429 or will I need a bigger one? my goal is 400+ hp at the rear.

The radiator should work. I say should since the 360 is a FE which in terms of the size of the blocks is a bit bigger. If I were you, I'd check to see how many cores there are in the radiator. 3 or more and you will be fine. I have a 3 core in mine and only have to worry about temp issues when it is 100 plus without a fan shroud and a 160 degree thermostat. Also make sure the inlet and outlets of the radiator are on the correct sides. Sometimes the radiators are swapped during the life of the truck and different hoses need to be used. The correct placement of the inlet is upper pass side and the outlet on the lower driver side.
