I never took the ACT- from what I've read, different regions of the country tend to use either SAT or ACT, and the northeast uses SAT. Not telling what I got on the SAT, but I only took it once. Now I'm an engineering student (civil). One day, I want to design roads.

Man, you can take your 1420 and...nah, just gonna leave it there, haha. I got 1260 on the SAT and 32-33 on the ACT, can't remember exactly. I just know I rocked the math sections, and the english pulled my score down.

john112deere, how far along are you in your engineering degree? I'm a junior at Pitt for mechanical.

Oh yeah, that's always fun. Just be careful, the professors will start being more relaxed, and give you more freedom. Mine didn't collect homework, and could care less if you went to class or not-so I didn't do homework or go to class. That mistake cost me about $2000 out-of-pocket in retaking classes.

I took the SAT once, 1410, and I took the ACT three times; 32, 30, 30. I went to Unity College in Unity Maine for Wildlife Biology, now I go to school at Montana State University for Environmental Studies and I work for the United States Dept. of Agriculture as a Plant Protection and Quarantine Specialist. Scores on the ACT/SAT are no measure of how well you will do in college. College is much more about hard work than how well you can read a book and recite answers like in high school. I had a solid 2.9 GPA in High School and neither hated it or liked it, I was just there. College is a different story, I enjoy going to class and I have a 3.85 GPA, I also put a lot of time and effort into my work.
