Thermostat
how far the rang of the thrmoststat that i can go
my 1990 ford van 5.0 302 the heat is not as hot like it should be
i have the temp control to max its just warm it should burn me out
blend door operates fine how high a thermostat should i get

I doubt it's a 160. It's also possible your stat is too low or that it is stuck in the open position. I would check with a parts store for the correct temp stat. Pull the one in the truck and see if it is correct or if it is stuck open. The parts store should be able to test your cap or just buy a new one, they don't cost much.
