Keyless Entry Module

Does anybody know where the keyless entry module is located on a 2004-2007 Ford F150 Crew Cab? Thanks.

It is located behind the rear seat back. Do a search for rear seat back removal and it will tell you how to remove it. If you need the code go to the dealer and ask them if they can pull it for you. Mine did it for free..... it takes about 30 seconds this way!

Thank you. I need to find this module so I can get the code off of it so I can use the key pad on the door in the event I get locked out. The code is supposed to be written on the module. Thanks again for the info.

You are correct. The code is on the module. Did you just purchase the truck? If so bring it back to the dealer and have them pull the code for you. Most dealerships will do this free of charge if you purchased it there. If it is not a Ford dealer, then have them foot the bill for the code retrieval!

Here's a link to the excellent article with pics (if you want to do it yourself).

Thanks sgt82nd for the info. I like to do most things myself rather than go to the dealer. That info is going to make the job a lot easier. This is my first time on here and you people are the best. Thanks again.

Art ...

The owner's manual has a section on the key pad. Also, there should be a 'key pad' card in the owner's manual that has the code that was given with the truck.

The owner's manual gives you directions to clear the pad and enter your own numbers. I believe only 5 are allowed.

If not, you can also see the module that others are speaking of.
