i'd say wail till monday night and check the forum or tuesday. I think there will be a sad final posting about the park They go to court Monday and i'm thinking that's the eviction hearings. It's going to be sad to see that park go. It's been such a geat place to wheel for the past 10yrs. Being involved with the park for soo many years and watching/helping it grow has been a great experience. I've had many good times taking groups out on monthly rides and getting people to experience things they never thought they could do with their vehicles for the first time. I've met many good people over the years of trail guiding and wheeling at the park. Many of us still get together even when were not wheeling. There are other places we'll have to turn to now for our wheeling fix.
In case you have not been following this, the hearing was today and the judge voted against Paragon. I have not heard what Kyle and Steph plan on doing, but I know from an earlier post they said that there would still be an off road park some where. Of all things to tear down an off road park for, they are going to put in a cargo airport!!
Anyone keeping up with the news on Paragon knows by now the park is to close. They have been ordered to vacate the property by monday.
Hope to see anyone this weekend that's comming out for the ride. It's $5 per person..they have dropped the price to $5 per person. There will be several prizes raffled off on Saturday.
Save Paragon decals are on sale from someone on the Paragon forums. Show your support! It's $6 per decal, and 5 of that goes to the owners of paragon! Here's the link.
Well, something good did happen for Paragon this week. A higher court ruled that Gladstone Partners and PCA Corp. have no right to force Paragon out until all appeals are exhausted. Paragon WILL be open this weekend. I really wish I could get there, but neither my, my brother's jeep or the trailer are ready. Get out and enjoy it if you can!
yea i had heard that they werent being evicted just yet, do you happen to know how long the knosps have before they have to give up their lifes work and passion?
i REALLY wish i could get up there, but with everything going on here with skool an d family and work, its just not practical. its about a 13 hour drive WITHOUT a trailer!
I just came over here to see that it got posted and was happy to see that it was already posted. Let's just hope there is a future, whether it's at the existing location, or at a new location. For those not familiar, check out the pics on there main site. this is pretty much the only off-road park of this extent in the northeast/mid-atlantic. Its for all types and abilities of off roading, including quads.
