Inside or outside handle?
I recently replaced the inside handle of the rear driver's side door in my '96. The part costs about $15 from your friendly local Ford dealer. It's an easy job - just remove the door panel and you'll see how it goes together.
I haven't replaced the outside handle, but to do that you'll have to remove the door panel too. A recent post ( about a month or two ago) explained how to pull the panel. Do a search for it and you'll see how easy this job is.
