I think I heard mine slip a few times with the powder a few years ago. I think I got a new belt and that helped. They get glazed and slip easily. Sometimes with cold snow I go slower. I have a diamond MD11 with the abs curve at the top. Some plows are better than others..not making any money yet this year
I have run Blizzard plows (now have the 810..what a plow BTW) on super duties since 2000 and have never had that problem. And the Blizzards dont even have any kind of deflector on top, they are just at more of an angle to deflect the snow. usually works great but with light snow you do still get blowback. But I have never had a belt problem.
