Source for Bed Stakes..???

Back working on the "84. Does anyone know of a source for wooden stakes for the bed pockets...or will I have to cut and fit ????.Thanks...Jv

I just cut some down from a 2x4, put a 3/8" radius on all four edges, coated them with water seal and stuck 'em in the stake pockets.

Unless you are building a show truck you might want to consider white oak, teak or Honduran mahogany. All three of those will weather very good where walnut will not.

Good Point...Have access to about any kind...my neighbor owns a custom milling business...ALWAYS good wood for my projects...jV

Cut the tops at an angle so water doesn't puddle and soak in.
