We're putting the bucket seats from the Mustang donor car we picked up in our '41. I've taken the headrests off since they sit so tall. Steve test fit the seats after I had the one re-upholstered and it's tight but comfy. The leg room seems to be fine even after having moved the firewall back 3" to fit the motor and I'm long legged. Definately no room for a center counsel or anything. I am going to try and design some kind of flip-armrest for between the seats once we get that far. A set of smaller buckets would give more room, but we both like these Veccaro seats.
I have a set of Toyota, yea I know, in my 40 Ford pu. The driver seat has a manual lumbar support and the lower seat has an adjustment for raising and lowering for leg support. They are very comfortable. A person on another site is building a 35 Ford pickup, and he is using the middle seat out of a mini van. He fabricated some brackets so he can flip the seat forward gaining access underneath for storage. That seat fit perfect. If you want, you can go to that site, StreetRodStuff, and do a search in the roundtable. He has a few pictures of the install. Just another option for you to consider.
