new flash w/ cool down timer
i'm about to take my truck in for the new flash next week and was wondering if i will have problems while using my cool down timer.
The cool down timer i have is basically a relay that keeps power to the pcm by monitoring the egt temps. It will keep power to the pcm until 400 degrees is reached ,then it will open letting the engine shutdown. i know that after a minute or two i get all kinds of dash lights going on and off when the key is taken out with the engine still running.

it is basically a relay that you tie 12vdc constant power to it. then it feeds the wire under the dash that recieves 12vdc from the ignition to the pcm, and then you tie two wires to the signal wire coming off the temp probe in the exhaust.
and it has a rehistat that you can set what temp you want the engine to shutoff at without the key in the ignition. and it will shutdown immediately if the truck is put in drive or the brake pedal is depressed to prevent theft.
so i am wondering if this flash will take over once the ignition power to the pcm is shutoff or if it does it at a different way. i don't want to get rid of my cool down timer in order to get this latest injector flash
