i thought about a independent rearend out of an older t-bird. i was told if i found one with a turbo 4 cylinder or 8 cylinder it comes with a 3:25 posi. suppose to be easier than the volarie front end install.

You could help me by letting me know the year and model of the truck you are asking about... as well as any specific dimensional information you can provide of the gas tank relative to the frame rails and axle centerline.

Flat-Out Engineering in Anaheim, CA sells a bolt-in kit that will enable you to install a Corvette IRS in your F100. I fabricated my own frame mods on my 50 Merc to install a 92 C4 IRS, the kit is worth the money!
