Did Ford decide to discontinue PATS on the 05 ranger or something? The key I have is the basic one. Looks the same as Super Duty key. The '03 has PATS...?Any ideas??

I thought they all had pats and I work at a Ford dealer. Maybe someone did a mod on it? OR could have been a fleet only option.

I think for reasons unknown the '05 Rangers didn't come with PATS. If it was available that year then it would be on some limited premium package, or possibly dealer installed. But that's about it. I've read this before somewhere, I don't recall exactly where.

I remember reading sometihng about it being dropped in 05. 04's have it.

That's right Bill, and then in '06 Ford brought it back (as far as I know).
