need frame builder referrals
This is my first message here. Please forgive any mistakes.
I am building a 1935 Ford pick-up hotrod. It is in no way original, it's simply not what I am into. The truck I am building is a 1935 Ford pick-up, but a fiberglass reproduction with an extended cab. The cab is extended 15 inches. As I am building it from scratch I need a frame. For ease of building I am looking for a rolling frame. I.F.S. and 9 inch rear are essential. I can do 1 of 2 things: I can buy a stock style reproduction frame and stretch it 15 inches, or I can buy a frame from a builder that can make the frame I need. Either option is acceptable.
The internet is too big for me to reliably find a qualified frame builder. I am asking (begging?) for referrals to frame builders. The only requirement for location is that it be in the USA. I am in Minneapolis, MN. The closer the better, but shipping is always an option. Cost, though important, is second to quality and safety.
Any information you can give would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Jon
