my rollcage fiasco
what did i expect it is a kit, it is not really close, but again it is a kit, i knew i would have to modify it and add bars. I did not expect to have to bend the front struts some more or toss them altogether. it is a kit. now for the crow!!!!
please consider a profesional rollcage builder. my fabricator is top notch but we will stumble for a while doing it. I got an email from my tirade at pro-touring.com, much like my fte tirade. It was from a professional rollcage shop owner/builder. he just wanted a little info on the kit, say he was sorry, and offered some knowledge about materials and placement. he did not gloat, or say i told you so, or belittle me in anyway, he was proffesional in every respect. just the opposite of my cage kit offering customer. Then in a show of true graciousness and human kindness he said call him if i needed help or advise. I cant not overemphasive how big i thought that was, it was huge, truly generous of him. If i have to swallow my embarrassment and call for some of his knowledge, i will be sending down a large gift certificate to a restaurant or a nice chunk of cash , irregardless of what he may say about it. if you need to build a cage and are within a couple hundred miles of the st. louis, mo. area.....
