First, Welcome to FTE. I think you'll find this site very helpful.
Second, Do a search of this forum and you may be able to find the info you're looking for. I recall some older posts where many of the older VIN sequences have been explained. Don't remember if any were the 1 1/2 ton, by may give you the year of your truck.
Third, if that doesn't work, post your seriel #'s in this forum, and have a little patience, one of the guys may be able to decode it for you.

Don't know of any websites that have the vin decoding feature for the pre '48 trucks. You can post it here if you want and somebody can try decoding it. Or if you want you can email me the vin and I can try to break it down for you. My email address is mustang63b(No Email Addresses In Posts!)
