How many trucks does it take to make the one you want or have?
So far for me...

1978 F-150 4x4 SB - donated chasis
1983 F-150 4x2 LB - donated motor and rear axle
1975 F-100 4x2 SB - donated body and misc. parts
1988 E-150 van - donated EFI setup
soon to be...
1988 Bronco - donated manual transmission and EFI parts
In the end...
1975 F-100 4x4 351W EFI 5-speed <---My dream truck, well pretty close...
LMAO my 82 has parts from a 73, a 78, a 79, an 82, another 82, an 84, and two 87's. How's that for frankenstein????
Motor from 73, Axles from 78, driveshaft/tcase from 79, body from 82, box from another 82, steering column from 84(traded my tilt + $75 for a non tilt) tranny from 87 and seat from another 87.
Wow! My 1978 F250 has a motor from a 74 Lincoln, front clip parts from a 78/79 Bronco, front axle from a 1989 F350, rear axle from a 1985 box truck, oil pan and radiator from an F600, interior parts and small stuff from anything. . .if I think I'll like it or its neat I'll make it work
Suprisingly my 79 Bronco has basically all the stock parts.
Only things differnet are the chrome vents for the windows(not sure which truck), chrome grille surround from 79 custom 2wd, and blocks from a 77 highboy.
Everything else is either stock, or aftermarket.
my 75 has parts from 73.74.75.76.77.78.79 and a 85 the only original parts are the chassis ,rear axle transfer case and engine I've had it since 83 only gotta get 12 more years out of it
lets see, 73 body,79f350chassis,91 5.8 ford motor sport crate engine,96 super duty hydro boost, many junk yard finds.
now all got to do is fix the sheet metal and paint it!
I think Johnny Cash had a song about a Cadillac he got from the factory like that. Only it was free. So far, mine has stayed fairly stock and I haven't been able to afford to fix/modify anything major. But I guess that's the advantage of being a college student.
No idea with mine, as I don't know where the motor came from. it is a 78 but I don't know if it came from a truck or car. I do know the air cleaner came from a Lincoln Continental The steering column also came from a donor truck, but everything was done to it before I bought it. So I couldn't say what year or model they were.
I won't list all the vehicles but my 86 had parts from 12 different vehicles, the oldest being an engine from a 75 T-Bird and the newest donor truck was a 97 F150 for the mirrors. And it had 9 different colors not counting the rust.
lets see.... titled as a 74f2504x4, 79 f150 axles and chassis, 71 lincoln motor, 77 lincoln trans, 93 t-bird cooling fan, 79 bronco rad support, 73 f150 grille(square to round headlight adaption), 93 f150 rims, 78 f150 2x4 booster+master, 78 bronco door and fenders.......the list goes on.
