Jimjdb1 will be stepping down

Fellas Jim Pm'd me last night and due to him getting busy with family and job duties is stepping down as the chapter leader, i can fully understand his position, things often change to the point where one is not able to give the necessary time that is needed to be a CL, He did say he could stay on for a short peroid to help in getting a new CL in place.

Jim has done a fine job here as the CL and I want to thank him for stepping up to the position.

Thanks Jim for all you have done.

And on that note you guy's need to start thinking about who can and will step up as a leader for this chapter.

Ok guys;

I need someone to step up and take over as Chapter Leader. I have alot on my plate at this time and it looks like it's going to get more hectic with me running for an elected position in the Lions Club. It really doesn't take a lot of time, I just don't have it. If you are at all interested please contact Ray by posting here. He will get in touch with you.

Thanks

Jim

Dave:

Thanks for the kind words. As I had hoped, my Lions Club voted to support me for District Governor of our district here in Michigan. What this means is for the next 4 years I will be busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest. I will have over 60 clubs to visit, 16 zone and cabinet mettings to attend, along with conventions and training seminars to attend. All this is in addition to working every day and trying to keep my household obligations in order. I think I'm going to have my hands full.

In closing, if someone would please step up and take the reigns I would really appreciate it.

Thanks again Dave, I will be seeing you all in the forum.

Jim

(Trigger, FYI you might want to add to that thread that any new incoming CL's will need to have approvel from staff after being elected by the members before he/she becomes a official CL. Just a thought. )

and your welcome Trig ....... Matthew it is a worthwhile position to go after...
