I just purchsed an '03 F250 Super Duty 6.0 PSD. It did not come with keyless entry fob. I'm trying to find out if it even has the module installed. Does anyone know where it is located? If it is not installed where, besides dealer, can I get one?
I am pretty certain, original window sticker doesn't list item, that mine doesn't have them. I mainly want to know where to get factory parts to add them. Has power locks, just need remote keyless.
The answer for all of your problems EBAY!! I got remotes for the wifes expedition for 6 bucks each with shiping and programing them is easy. happy bidding

If it can be done Ed from y2kfordparts will figure it out and get you the parts for a great price. I am not positive but i remember reading something about the modual for keyless entry which also controlled a couple other things being located under the center of the dash somewhere.
If you're willing to spend $150. on RKE, you might as well get a full-blown security system. Ford in their infinite wisdom felt that the only "security" our SD's needed was door locks, and not very sturdy door locks at that. Unlike most every other Ford vehicle, we don't even get the PATS (chipped key). Although I hear they're putting PATS on the '08's, lot of good that does us now. In terms of security systems, there are Ford branded systems made by Code-Alarm if you want to stay Ford. Or if you want the newest high-end, there are quality 2-way paging/remote start systems from Directed Electronics (Viper, Clifford, AstroStart, etc.), and Compustar.
