i saw this in the new diesel power and was wondering if anyone has installed it
you can control the amount of preassure in the shocks by just turning a ****, is it worth it?
It's really personal preference. I couldn't justify the extra cost for the convenience. My front shocks can be reached kneeling by the tires. The rears require shimmying underneath the truck, but the truck sits high enough that I can just slip under.
When I got my 4 ranchos for the 03 Ex they were offering that free... but heard so many stories how they seem to get vacuum leaks a lot (the in cab adjustment is vacuum operated) I chose not to install it and glad I didn't....
Like Harald says - not a biggee to change and once I found where I liked it, don't think I ever changed it... (sorta like those adjust on the fly programmers )
I just put on Rancho 9000's and the shop suggested to NOT get the controller since there's really not much to adjusting them.
What number are you guys running on the 9000? It was suggested that I put mine on the softest setting (1) to see how I liked the ride. But I really can't tell a lot of difference in that soft setting and a 5 setting. How come?
