I have noticed over the past couple months that until my truck heats up to NOT in the morning, that when on the accelerator the heater blows harder. Is this normal? Is it related to the fan?
It kinda sounds like your batteries or alternator are getting weak or you have dirty or bad connections on your batteries.. I would check the charging volts on the batteries with a volt meter.. At a idle, the voltage should be around 14.7 volts.
Has anyone else noticed this. It happens to me whenever the temps are below 35 ish.
I am on a stock DP setting when this happens and it is consistent through all tunes.
Guys i've noticed this as well. I wasn't sure why either just knew that when its cold, truck sounded like a dragon and was sucking in a lot of air and pushing it through the heater when it's on.
Maybe someone will jump on and explain this to all of us.
No one knows what this is, or why the trucks do it? Like these guys are saying seems cold temperature related, is this part of the cold weather package?
