Either way you'd need the appropriate gearbox. I got one for a 79 F150 4x4 for $40 at the local yard, but they go for about $75 around here usually. Correct steering shaft and PS pump, along with bracketry, hoses. You might need pulleys for the front of your engine. You might need new tie rods but i don't think so.
Would you know where I could find a steering shaft? I'm converting my 73 f100 4X4 to power steering and I cannot find the steering shaft anywhere. How do I know which on eto buy. My gear box is off a 76 4x4 and it has the rag joint.
Thanks for any help....
All I would like to know is if the steering shaft pic you posted is for sale or not? I know what it looks like I'm just trying to find one to purchase.
My posts are directed to Mil1ion since he posted the pic of the steering shaft I'm looking for and thought was for sale. My apologies to anyone who thought I was soliciting in this forum.
