My sig tells you the mods I have. My '04 X has 43,000 trouble free miles with the Edge Juice being installed for 30,000 of them running 90% of the time in mode 3. I get 15-16 MPG around town and 19-20 MPG on the interstate. I'm torn about whether to get the flash done and am looking for suggestions from you guys. Especially the Ford techs. I'm really looking for info from guys who have the Juice and the flash, if they exist.
From what I have read on this site these are some of the PROs and CONs I have read about.
Flash PROs: Better cold starting, reduced engine noise and turbo lag, increased injector life and better tranny shifting.
Flash CONs: Potentially could make my JUICE useless and it neuters the T/H tranny function.
According to the Edge tech support people, they will not guarantee my Juice will work with the new flash. I sent it back about 6 months ago for the latest update.
So according to what I have said what do you guys recommend?
You can run a flash tuner AND still have the Tow/Haul functions. I do it everyday with my 05. I run a Juice Platinum w/ and A2 stacked with an Evolution (p/n EEF2200). You can run the trans functions only with the Evo or you can stack extra power with it as well. The key is to unhook the Juice from under the hodd BEFORE you do ANY tuning changes with the Evo. Once the tune is done, plug the Juice back in and your ready to play. If you want more info feel free to call me at 877-402-9320. I have them in stock and ready to go.
