factory stereo swap

can i put a 2006 stereo from a f-150 into my 1999 f-350?

i dont think you can. i beleive the plugs are different. if the plugs are the same than by all means

i'm just worried about them physically fitting. i can handle the wiring

Not without a lot of work, the 2006 stereo is much bigger than the 1999.

You can however fit a double din aftermarket unit with just a little trimming to the top and bottom of the inner opening. And you can still put the original radio back in if you get rid of the truck.
