Looking for a source for the rubbers on the rear doors of a '57 panel. Help!! Thanks.

 

Try Sacremento Vintage Frod in Ca or LMC parts catologe,don't have addr rite now or Dennis Carpentor Reproductions in NC,they have web site, or Obsolete Ford in Oklahoma city or this sites vendor lists, there are many. Garry

The usual places for the id plate are on the inside of the glovebox door, or on the drivers-side door frame. If it isn't in either of those places, you've got to look very carefully at the top surface of the frame rails, roughly above the steering box (give or take a couple of feet). The numbers are stamped there, but what with paint, rust and dirt you'll need to use a wire brush and maybe sandpaper to see them. And maybe take the front clip off for better access.

 

is there any were else does not set on oraingal frame.ford motor company says on right side dash panel did not find it there ethier found data plate on glov box but no vin on dooors dash glovebox or firewall..........thanks
