Bumper trim- Flairside

I have a '98 F-150 shortbox flairside( stepside? ). In backing up, I caught the plastic on the driver's side and broke it loose from the steel bumper. I assume it can be replaced, and I am looking here for a factory part number to start looking. Thx.

Have you thought about a Pick-N-pull (junk yard?) Most of them let you walk the yard. Try taking you cover off a couple of times, then go and remove it. It will save you some $$. PN should be on the bottom of the trim.

Thanks for the thought. Had the truck in for a safety recall and asked the dealer for a part number. Seems the '98 F-150 flareside is different than most others in that the plastic cap comes in one piece, not two like most. Dealer quoted $72 new delivered; already found it cheaper through a link from this website.

Are you talking about the front or the rear bumper? I need the plastic trim that goes on the top of the front bumper...

I need a whole rear bumper for a Flareside, where did you find the pad?

Use the link for Discount Ford Parts to the left. I've purchased parts from them in the past, and if there are any questions or problems, they are quick to address them. I think it is a dealership in Seattle WA.
