ANOTHER disc conversion question...
dont want to waste time going and serching for a donor truck so.... say i wanted to go to the local parts store and start fresh with getting what i needed to do a front disc conversion... what direction do i needed to be heading towards. did i add that i hate working on brakes? so keep it simple and thanks.

i don't think you can get the spindles from the parts store, maybe Ford but thats pushin it. I could be wrong though. Get a doner spindle set and the rest you can get new from the parts store.

Too bad your so far away, I have a nice set of disc brakes front hubs, calipers, and rotors laying in the garage..... I would think you should be able to find the same setup locally for $100 or so..... At least that's what they bring around here.... With some diligent shopping, I wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't find a donor parts truck with all the conversion pieces you will need for about the same price or less..... Shopping for a killer deal is a matter of luck......The harder and longer you look, the luckier you will be!!!!
