front frame bent

Had a question about repair to the front frame where the bumper mounts up.The truck was hit onthe driver side and bent the bumper along with the rails.Is it easy to heat the front fork and bend it back or cut and replace with something like 3x3 steel and weld the toe hook back on.Please any help on this.

i had someone hook to my front bumper while backing out, i have the ranch hand front replacement but the same thing happened it ripped the brackets clean back, i was told the best way was to have it heated up and stretched back into place then welded but im no expert or it would be fixed right now. let me know what you end up doing and if you got pics i would be interested in seeing them.

It is easy to heat it and put it back in place, although this is usually done on a frame machine, or tied down and using a pulling tower.

as a side note to my post i was pointed in the direction of a frame machine, haden't had the time, money or chance to get around to it by the way

bent front frame

I just taked with a guy from ford part and you can buy the front fork brand new.I guess it cut the twisted one out and weld the new one on.he says it comes with the bumper brakets also.Well the price 125.00 each side.I guess its off to the ford house.
