Changed a couple COP's today, and after i put them in the same code was showing up on the reader? It does 3 things that i need some help figureing out. First it says i have a miss on #7 this code it blinks the freeze frame on, then it says i have a miss on #2, and it also says that the O2 sensor and the O2sensor heater monitor have not completed the tests? Now every time i have hooked up the puter it tells me this code? Do i have a problem with the O2 sensor? no SES light is showing up? I also got playing with a little white paint today while under the hood, still need to clean it up a bit.
I like the paint I did the same thing on my X, except I made the V10 silver and the TRITON red. Yours looks good. I think a paint mod like that will give you <i>at least</i> 10 extra horsepower, kinda like painting your brake calipers red.
Can't help with the codes, but it looks like Housedad has you covered on that front Good luck though!
Yes i did clear the codes and in fact i had to clear them like 3 times in a row to wipe them out completely. Then i drove it home and read the codes again to find the same codes. Now today i rechecked stuff, changed out the coil with another one of the take-offs and, used a mirror to check #2 wigles the injector plugs and tried it out agin. this time i could hear a difference. I knew i had all 10 running for the first time since i have owned this truck. WOW it's like a whole new truck again. Now i am seeing what everybody is talking about nice quiet smooth engine. It runs much better as a V10 then a V9. Reset the computer and watching the milage slowly climb upwards above where a V9 runs.
