I need help wiring my brake controller. I have a Tekonsha Brake controller with a standard f 4 wire (Black, white, red, blue) and my factory supplied wiring harness has 5 wires (Green, red, blue, white, and brown) They don't match up. Any one know how to wire these together to plug into the factory Trailer brake plug under the dash
white-ground
light green-stop lamp feed to brake controller
red-trailer electric brake control feed
blue-trailer electric brake feed (output from electric brake)
brown-illumination
and if the truck is a 2001 or older (that type of info is always helpfull when you post a question) then you will need to install 2 fuses and 2 relays in the underhood fuse/relay boxes
Thanks for the help. On the light green, do I need to splice into the wire behind the brake pedal or can does it connect to the brake controller itself. By the way it is a 2003 F-350.
Thanks
